"I created this lithograph in 1990 as a tribute to the other America. It's a drawing expressing my love for the dispossessed and impoverished people of this hemisphere. The portrait is of an anonymous mother and child... they could be living anywhere, Brazil, Honduras, Mexico... or even Los Angeles."
