Dia
de los Muertos - Silkscreen
print 15" x 19" $150.00
Only
25 of these vibrant five color silkscreen
prints were made in 1987. The artist hand-painted
the image directly on the screen with glue,
then printed the design using dayglow inks.
Each print is hand-signed and numbered by
the artist.

Calaca
(Skull) -
Monoprint 6" x 8" $50.00
Vallen created a suite of these multicolored
monoprints for Day of the Dead in 2002. The
artist hand-painted the image directly on
a sheet of glass with oil paints. A piece
of paper was then laid over the painting and
gently burnished. Removing the paper revealed
a perfect "mirror image" print. No two monoprints
are alike in color scheme or detail. Each
print is hand-signed and dated by the artist.
